Venetian Blinds

Venetian blinds are an ever-popular shading solution that looks good in both classical and contemporary settings. Venetians present a neat appearance from either side of a window and the tilting slats offer an opportunity to adjust lighting within the home to suit every eventuality. All venetians are of the highest quality and give years of reliable service.

Aluminium Venetian Blinds

Aluminium blinds are a popular choice because of the huge variety of colours available. Pastels, metallic’s and bold solids offer an opportunity to create beautiful designs within your home. These blinds are also available in 15, 25, 35, and 50mm slats. They can be corded from the left or right. This cord lifts the blind up and down. A simple wand operates the angle of the slat, and can be on the right or the left hand side of the blind.

Perfect fit Venetian (15, and 25mm slat size only)

Perfect fit Venetian blinds, are the ultimate in Venetian window shading. The blind is manufactured to fit in it’s own Perfect fit frame. This frame clips onto brackets that slide between the window glazing and the rubber seal. It’s perfect, no screws! It makes a perfect blind because the ends of the slats are not visible, and what’s more, if you have the tension option, it comes without cords, and is operated by raising the bottom bar by hand. It will stop where you want it. Perfect fit Venetian blinds look good in conservatories, patio doors, in fact any type of window! Perfect fit Venetian blinds come in white or dark brown, light oak, and anthracite grey frames to suit your windows.

PVC Venetian Blinds

PVC Venetian blinds are a unique alternative to wood or aluminium Venetian blinds. They give the allure of wood, but are made of PVC. They are waterproof, and fade resistant. They come in 50mm slat size only, and are available in a pleasing selection of colours.
They are great for kitchens and bathrooms where moisture can be a problem.
PVC Venetian blinds come with a matching pelmet, and tilt cords on the left, and raise and lower on the right.

Cleaning

It’s easy to clean Venetian blinds. The best way is little and often. Close the blind so it covers the window and the slats are pointing down. Using a microfibre feather duster lightly dust in a downwards only motion. Reverse the slats, and dust upwards only, and your Venetian is clean! If your blind has become soiled, you may need to use a damp cloth on each slat.

Health and Safety

All venetian blinds come with safety devices built into the cord system, and are perfectly safe for any environment. A cord cleat is always supplied and fitted to industry standards.

Care must be taken with hanging cords regarding young children, and vulnerable persons, due to the danger of strangulation. Cord tidies, or the shortening of cords where possible is now required. A health and safety warning tag is enclosed with each blind, for your instruction, and appropriate fixings to avoid danger of harm.

We have an extensive array of venetian blinds available.
